Croc scale pouch

Hey, this is a time and yarn consuming pattern. The stitch on the body, Crocodile Scale, seriously consume time and yarn. This pattern is made up. The crocodile stitch can be found in Youtube under ‘crocheting crocodile scale’… I think it was from Teressa. The stitch is quite simple and learning from video makes it easier.

I made a mistake using Degas cotton for this pouch. The pouch is quite thick and stiff. A softer yarn like Simge would have shown the stitch better I think. I am going to wash it tomorrow and use softener to try softening the yarn!

Green Pouch

This pouch is a fusion of Urara Handbag of Pierrot Yarns, pattern from pattern book, and Little Bag by Marilyn Coleman. The base is from Urara and body is from the pattern book and the beading round and strap is from Coleman. This fusion was due to the part I had to on laptop each time I want to read the chart (I did not print the pattern!!!! ). So I just crocheted the body taking the pattern from my mom’s old crochet and knitting pattern book ( the Chinese book I did review on during the Green Table Cloth). As for why I used Coleman’s ending was due to the strap! I liked it! The strap was a magic actually! I was a bit confused when I read the instruction about the strap, tried it on scrap yarn and it turned out well! Amused actually I was!

Well the yarn as you can see, same as the Green Hornet Hat, Floss Acryl from Ice Yarns using hook size 3. Used almost 1 skein.

Short Ruffled Scarf

This is for my bestie, it is her birthday in 3 days. I would say it is really time consuming. I did for almost 30 minutes, maybe only 5cm long. So I really have to sit put n knit it! It is knitting and not crochet.

Used 3 skeins of Soft Frilly Ribbon Yarn from Ice Yarns. Knitted using 4 mm knitting needle. Way to knit ruffled scarf can be found in YouTube! Seriously, it really can be a good teacher. The scarf is 120cm long, I would say its short for a scarf.

Green Table Cloth

This table cloth, my friend asked me to do it for him, as he wants to give his grandma as a gift. The color was choose by my mom and everyone liked it but I still don’t really get along with the color.. I don’t know, green is my fav but this mixture just don’t give the thumbs up thing, not sure why actually.

The pattern is from a Chinese book which almost 30 years old and the book is good!!!! Seriously good! Its both crochet and knitting pattern. Just all kind of pattern and some project, in diagram! Good! The book says 880 and I’m assuming 880 patterns! I don’t know, I just asked my friend to translate it, so lets just wait and see what it say!

External Drive Cover

Well this is long promised gift for my brother. I am supposed to make it last year but I just don’t know. It was always pushed away! So this time I made it a point to finish it and I made it! I am telling u, I’m lazy! It’s a very very small project! Very! 16 cm x 13 cm! small! Okay, back to it, the yarn is from Germany, brother bought it when he was there, details on it, I was dumb then, threw the labels away when I rolled it into balls! Ignorant of a blank mind! The color is brilliant! Pattern, hmm just 'front post treble' crochet all around.

The Green Hornet Hat

Why with the name? I think because I did the hat during the time the movie came out and my friends were talking about it when I was doing this project. It suits the color of the hat, so just name it.

Yarns type- Floss Acryl from Ice yarns. Used 1 skein and pattern from Summer Slub Hat by Pierrot.

Bucket hat n Poncho

Bucket hat n Poncho
I’ll start with the bucket hat first. I got it this time! Pattern is from amicomo4-1_Bucket_Hat , posted by Da’Knit. Well, the yarns are Viscose Plus and Degas Cotton from Ice yarns which I bought from  http://yarnsonlineshop.com/ and I used 5mm hook. Pattern is easy but you must know to read chart. I felt the flower was harder to understand.. but eventually I modified the flower.

The poncho… pattern… none.. I didn’t even write it down.. but it is a increase in all the four angle. The collar was mere creation. I just needed it to be smaller to look like a collar and I added some edging. The yarns and hook size is the same as the hat above.

It is set for my ex-roomie! She loves orange.. and I sure do hope she will like this too! http://yarnsonlineshop.com/
